INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - He waited 45 years to tell his UFO story and now there are more coming forward with the same story.

In the summer of 1969, at the age of 22, Raymond Griggs worked at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, when he and several coworkers spotted a UFO hovering over the complex.

Griggs, and others in the group, were visited by two shadowy characters the next day.

"One was dressed in gray and one was dressed all in black. They didn't say who they were and they said you know that you have signed a security clearance agreement and you did not see anything," says Margie Kay, of the UFO research group Missouri MUFON.

Since Griggs came forward, more have stepped up with accounts of UFO sightings around Lake City, with some being very recent.
