English -- Exercises for Awakening–and More Energy

intuitive

These are exercises I practice daily. I work with the first and second exercises in my morning meditation, and I practice the third exercise throughout the day.  The exercises will aid in finding the connection with your inner self, visualizing your desires, and having more energy.

Plan to take 8-10 minutes to practice these exercises. (If you meditate regularly, you may only need 5 minutes or less.)

Increasing Your Light

  • Imagine light as a large ray of sunlight flowing into your being. You feel warmth and increased light as it flows through your being. You feel the light on your skin, through your muscles, and finally throughout the body. Allow the light to flow through the front and back of your body.
  • Feel the warmth and light. Imagine having an inner part of you, a light body, which receives energy from the light. Feel the white light radiating into your light body, making it stronger and more vital.
  • As the light floods into your inner and physical bodies, imagine the feeling of the connection with your higher self, which is connected to a much larger energy field. Experience the feeling of soft energy, heightened consciousness, and sensations of peacefulness and joy.
Visualization

You may have a specific visualization for your life, but this exercise is very helpful in attaining a positive feeling about life.

  • Sit in comfortable place (or outdoors.) Form an image of yourself as you look now as you sit with your eyes closed. Ask yourself how you look when you are happier, more abundant, and more joyful. Take 1-2 minutes to form this image.
  • Imagine moving through the rest of the day with a happier attitude. What might flow differently? What might change in your life? What would bring more abundance, vitality, or joy?
  • Notice your answer. Add the element(s) in your answer to your visualization by seeing yourself as having whatever you listed. (It’s interesting to note that we tend to picture or “see” ourselves as not having what we desire. This exercise turns it around.)
Energy

  • Think of times when you felt healthy, looked wonderful, or felt exceptionally well. Imagine living the next few hours in this state. (Spend 2-3 minutes on this exercise.) There is a true connection between the physical and spiritual so this is more important than it seems.
  • Before bed, think of awakening the next day feeling refreshed and relaxed. (It’s good to practice this while preparing for bed—and in the morning, if you feel tired.)
  • Imagine having whatever resources you need to make your live easier and more fun. (This is particularly useful when you encounter low energy or a lower emotional state.)
  • Notice what takes your energy up and down. Adjust your life accordingly. Your energy is speaking to you about your life. (This exercise involves using your intuition and paying attention to your overall energy. You’ll find a pattern if you do this on a daily basis.)
  • Send pink light (love) to your reflection whenever you look in the mirror.
The “No Exercise” Exercise

Develop a feeling of trust in the power of the exercises. Don’t check to see if they are working, believe in them. It can take between a week and a month to feel the difference of working with light and energy. Trust in the universe and its power to help in finding more of your inner self.
