A Mississippi witness eastbound along Goodman Road in Olive Branch about 9:30 a.m. on May 6, 2014, reported watching a cloud with angular lines that appeared to have an oval-shaped object within it, according to testimony in Case 56072 from the Mutual UFONetwork (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was driving and on her way to the gym when the cloud was first noticed.
"I watched it and noticed that it wasn't round and fluffy, but angular," the witness stated. "As I watched, it seemed to swirl and my first thought was that it was a whirlwind, but then I saw just the left side end and bottom edge of an oval shape within the cloud. It was a light blue color."
The cloud then quickly disappeared as the witnessed watched which raised several questions.
"I kept watching and within about three seconds everything just dissipated. I thought it was odd that the cloud wasn't blown by the wind but just disappeared. I thought maybe it was smoke, but there were no other planes nearby. I also wondered why it was the only cloud in an otherwise cloudless day. I wondered how it could have disappeared so quickly."

Olive Branch is a city in DeSoto County, MS, population 33,484. Mississippi has a current UFO Alert Rating of 5 with a low number of recent reports nationally. Mississippi had 9 UFO reports in April 2014 - the 26th highest reporting state - while California had 80 reports - the highest reporting state in the nation. The above quotes were edited for clarity.
