Missile-shaped UFO appeared to crash in Colorado
May 9, 2014
A Colorado witness in Centennial reported watching a silent, missile-shaped object with bright lights that moved toward ground level about 10:30 p.m. on May 8, 2014, according to testimony in Case 56135 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was standing in a backyard with dogs looking at the night sky when the object was first seen.
"An elongated, fat, (not a thin line) shape that was a completely bright light, almost like it was on fire, appeared in the sky off to the south," the witness stated. "It was huge so it looked like it was close. My house is two blocks north of a cemetery and it looked like it was going to crash in the cemetery."
The witness found it hard to describe size and distances.
"The actual size was very hard to determine as it looked very close because it was so big, but I could tell that it was farther away because the cemetery is so close. It was coming down straight to the ground."
The witness described the object.
"The front three-quarter of the object was a solid, bright, fiery white light and the back quarter was a solid, bright green light. I did not see a trail of any kind. It was completely silent. No sound whatsoever. It looked as though it must have gone straight down to the ground, but from my suburban backyard I would not be able to see off into the distance to see if it hit the ground or where it would have hit the ground. There were no planes in the sky. It looked nothing like a firecracker or anything like that. It looked nothing like anything I have ever seen."
