An Indiana witness recalls a UFO event with missing time at a Morocco campground, according to April 29, 2014, testimony in Case 55862 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The reporting witness was 9-years-old at the time of the original event that began about 9 p.m. on June 15, 2000, while on a camping trip with his two brothers, ages 18 and 10, and an 18-year-old friend. They chose the Willow Slough campground in Morocco, but decided to set up in a more isolated area outside the main campsite.
The young men had two encounters with hearing strange noises, although the first event was a camp manager checking on the boys. But as the sounds continued into the evening rather close to their tent, they decided to make a run for their vehicle that was parked about a half-mile away.
The two older boys decided to leave the tent first with knives - but both of the knives fell apart as they were leaving the tent. Not understanding what was going on, all four began running for their vehicle.

"In our hurried attempt to escape, my older brother, who was driving, found ourselves on an unfamiliar road," the reporting witness stated. "One that we didn't take to get here. It's dark with no streetlights, heavily wooded on both sides and straight as an arrow. It can't be any later than 9:30 p.m. now. We see a light a couple miles up on the road. It looks like a car's headlights coming at us we suppose. We are on a one-way road though so we think either we're going the wrong way or they are."
As they get closer, they realize it is only a single light and that it is hovering above the ground. But then their vehicle appeared to lift off of the ground.
"At that moment you can feel the car kick it into another gear we must have accelerated to around 80 mph. He took his hands off the wheel and feet off the pedals. He couldn't turn the wheel and the brakes didn't work. We thought we were gonna die. We thought we were gonna crash head on with this other vehicle or object or whatever it was, but as we got even closer it was clear. This thing was not moving. It was an extremely bright, white light in the middle of the road. As we were about to collide with it we all basically said our prayers, ducked our heads and screamed at the top of our lungs."
At the point of impact, the witness says they were engulfed in a bright light.
"Just as fast as I could snap my fingers, the next thing I know is, we are parked in the middle of the road, and the car is off. My oldest brother is slumped over the wheel passed out and his friend is in the passenger seat with his head tilted all the way back snoring at the top of his lungs. I'm awake and my other brother is awake, so we wake them up. We wonder where did the other car go?"
The group collected themselves and continued to drive home - but they soon realized about 4 to 5 hours had passed.
"My brother starts the car and says 'no way.' He looks at the clock - it's like 2 or 3 a.m. - and about 4 or 5 hours passed in the blink of an eye. We pull away and leave. I keep questioning what happened, but nobody knows and they tell me to keep quite and never ever speak of this again. Once we left that road, we never spoke of it again. When we got home my mother was surprised to see us and called us chickens for being too afraid to camp and we just stuck with that story and never talked about it. Looking back on it now I have the insight to see that this has all the signs of alien abduction."
Morocco is a town in Beaver Township, Newton County, IN, population 1,129.
