Mississippi couple reports low flying triangle UFO
March 4, 2014
A Mississippi couple driving southbound along Highway 45 between Saltillo and Tupelo report watching a black, triangle-shaped UFO that moved close to them, according to March 4, 2014, testimony in Case 54442from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The couple first noticed "three bright, white lights" that first appeared to be disc-shaped about 10:15 p.m. on February 7, 2014.
"We slowed down and began to watch it because the lights were so brightly glowing white," the reporting witness stated. "It was in the distance at this point. It quickly changed direction and altitude."
The object then appeared to move east toward their location.
"It appeared to have some sort of light 'drop' out of it like a raindrop of light. We turned to each other and said, 'Did you see that? Are you seeing this?' My husband said we need to get a picture of it because no one would believe this."
As the object began to move directly overhead, the couple slowed down and stopped on the highway.
"I did not grab my phone for a picture because I was afraid I would miss something incredible."
The witness described the object.
"As it got closer we could tell it had four lights. In fact, three bright, white, glowing lights - not blinking - and one tiny red light that was in the bottom center of the craft. We were able to make out a black structure with a triangle shape. We did not see wings on the object. It just had the triangle shape. We thought if it were an airplane it would not have been able to turn around like it did before. It would have a blinking light on it somewhere and would not go so slowly over us. It had slowed down when it passed over us."
The object made no sound.
"There was no noise like a helicopter."
The object then moved quickly away.
"It disappeared off to the east toward Birmingham more quickly though after it slowly went across the highway. The whole event may have lasted five minutes."
