Italian Filmmaker Seeks To Dramatize UFO Investigation

An Italian filmmaker wants to bring the drama of a UFO investigation to the big screen in a found footage style movie entitled CRAS. Maurizio Squillari is the man behind the project and he is hoping that a successful crowdfunding campaign could help make his project a reality.

"A documentary filmmaker and a journalist set out to investigate the site of a UFO landing while unraveling the secrets of a team of UFO hunters," reads the plot description on the CRAS indiegogo page. "Their obsession to find the truth might be the first of many elements that threaten to jeopardize their friendship and their safety, as the mysterious UFO hunters pull their masks off and the strange lights in the sky get closer and closer."

Should Squillari raise enough funds, CRAS will become the first Italian movie to explore the world of UFO investigation. While Squillari's movie will be in Italian, he hopes that the addition of English and Spanish subtitles will help to attract a more global and inquisitive audience. And there's the big question...the US recently had (and for the most part rejected) a found footage movie based on the Skinwalker Ranch events, it is hard to imagine their is any desire for another one, let alone one in a foreign language.

International prospects aside, it is nice to see a young filmmaker like Squillari attempting to make a "respectful" Ufological movie. So if you want to support the team of young filmmakers in their crusade, head on over to Indiegogo and help them reach their fundraising goal of $12,000.
