Florida witness describes 'morphing UFO' at close range

Two Florida witnesses at Margate reported watching a "morphing UFO" that dropped to ground level, according to March 26, 2014, testimony in Case 54956 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The reporting witness and her boyfriend first saw a "glowing light which first appeared as an airplane" and caused them to look closer as the object was hovering about 10:59 p.m. on February 28, 2014.
"The more I stared at it, it then started swaying side-to-side, and all of a sudden it started coming closer to me and within seconds it was too close for comfort."
The woman called to her boyfriend.
"We ran out to my driveway, saw the airplane, heard the 'airplane,' but that all faded when it completely transformed and morphed and started to descend fast and drop towards the ground in a vertical position."
The witness described the object.
"It turned into a light blueish-teal orb that looked like a distorted, pix-elated plane. At that moment the thing was literally 10 to 15 feet away from us. It darted towards a baseball field in the area. I kept thinking about what I had just seen, and before I could do anything, I looked to my right and he was gone."
The woman then noticed that her boyfriend was running toward the object "recording" it.
One image was included with the MUFON report, which was filed on March 26, 2014. And soon after the event, they saw planes moving into the same airspace.
"A couple of minutes after I ran after him, I noticed 15-20 planes that had passed by. It was the strangest and most invading, immense feeling in the world. It was as if we were both being completely surrounded."
The few minutes later, the area was clear.
"After 10 minutes the air was silent and still and there was not a single plane in sight. What we saw gave us mixed emotions of both positive and negative. Whatever it was it definitely had me questioning science, my religion, and it takes a compelling and much greater understanding and knowledge to configure all the energies and dimensions of the universe."
Margate is a city in Broward County, FL, population 53,284. Florida has a current UFO Alert Rating of 3 with a high number of recent reports nationally. Florida had 39 UFO reports in February 2014 - the 2nd highest reporting state - while California had 59 reports - the highest reporting state in the nation.
There was another UFO report filed on the same date in Florida. A witness in Miami driving near 8th Street and 42nd Avenue with the kids in the backseat reported chasing and photographing an orb-shaped UFO moving low over commercial buildings just after 7:15 p.m. on February 28, 2014, as the witness noticed a "single light orb floating" nearby and became curious.
